With the 8 arm sets their Intensions are to also push the axle back and adjust for pinion angle.

Exactly the reason I was looking at buying all 8.

I'm currently running the Rough Country 4" X-series lift with all 8 adjustable arms and have had no problems. I've been running it since August. They are really beefy and easy to adjust as we'll as easy to rebuild if need be. The other good thing is if you decide go a little higher they can be adjusted up to 6" of lift. I think it's the best bang for the buck.

Thanks, I think I am leaning towards these based on the fact that they are half of the cost of everything else (yes I know they probably are not as good as RK, Teraflex or Metalcloak), but they will solve the caster/pinion angle problems and will recenter my rear wheel in the wheel well, plus they have to be better than stock control arms.

I just thought of another question, is there really any benefit to replacing the front pinion yoke with new driveshafts? I have noticed that many manufacturers do not replace them. So confused

Depending on lift height you may not need the fronts right away.

Currently I am running a Adams shaft and have my lowers adjusted all the way in.
Generally we do front LCA 's for casters
That's until you install a double carden.
Now pinion is more important.

This is where they get you. You have lowers but those are not the correct length to use with their uppers.
If you go to the RK site you will see 2 different part numbers for their lowers.

Unlike TF who offers 2 uppers. RK's uppers are longer to work with the longer lowers and move the axle back.

Or ..... If you do want to utilize the lowers in your kit. When ordering have RK shorten the upper arms.

I hope I am not confusing the hell out of you guys :(

- my arms are TF. I did not know and ordered RK rear upper. They are too long to work with my stock lowers.
Instead I got a good deal on a full set of TF arms. Sold the RK's and will sell my current LCA's also.
