Default setup - response asap plz

Looking to make sure this would be ok.

35" nit to trail grapplers
2.5" teraflex budget boost with shock adapters
17x9 pro comp metal mulisha 5038 wheels with 4.75" backspacing

On a 2013 Jku moab standard with 3.73 gears

Teraflex kit says I need 4.5" backspacing or less for 35s. I don't do major off roading, so I'm not worried about articulation. Just some minor trails for hunting, fishing, or camping. This is my dd. Basically, would the wheels I chose do this setup be ok??

Thanks! (Search function is working on my app)

The backspacing is more for the inside rubbing you might get (i.e. when you turn the wheel). You could always add spacers....

With my 35" maxxis bighorns on 4.5" BS rims and a 4" lift, I would rub occasionally when turning with a little speed and compressing the suspension. (turning up in to driveways/store entrances, crossing the deeper gutters/drainage channels across intersections, stuff like that.) Not often, but I knew a few spots in town where it would happen every time.

With less lift and less BS, just get to know the situations you are likely to rub and slow down more or don't turn as sharp.

Or mess with the steer stops, or add spacers, or choose different rims.

I'd like to avoid both rubbing & wheel spacers. So I guess I should probably pick out a different wheel...which is disappointing. Lol. Thanks for the help!

I ran the Bighorns for a couple of years (great tire) but they are on the smaller side of the 35" spectrum...more in line with the KM2's. If he gets Trail Grapps and they are anything like my Toyo M/T, they tend to run a little more true to size so getting the right BS is defintiley needed. Most people I know that run 17" wheels with 4.5" BS tend to add spacers for the extra room. It's actually kind of hard to find decent looking wheels in 17" that have less than 4.5" (at least it was when I almost moved to 17" wheels). My current 16's have 4.25" and they clear everything fine.

Any more comments on this? I really like the pro comp wheels. I feel that they'd be just fine.

4.75 procomp 5029's and toyo 35's. No rubbing at all, even disconnected. 3.5 lift.

Well, with mine being 9" wide, would they set further in 1/4"? Do you think it'd be ok (did you check your clearance at full turn)?

That might be a stupid question! It wouldn't set in any further than yours. Lol
