Default Shift Points

I have an 07 unlimited with stock gears and 35's. When I drive on the highway if i set cruise control at 75 it constantly decelerates and then re accelerates. I was told this was because of the shift points as a result of my larger tires. Will buying a superchip like the hypertech one be able to change the shift points?

If it has the ability to calibrate the computer for the new tire size then it should work no matter what brand.

Are you running with OD on? If so, then you need to turn it off. Superchips will not fix this particular scenario, because the engine with stock gears and 35's doesn't have enough beef to maintain speed in OD. Regardless, I think you should still correct your speedo.

Yes, he needs to re-gear or like was said, turn OD off and live with no OD. I did that for about a year then re-geared.

A regear will help but you really should recalibrate it either way. The AEV Procal is the cheapest way to do it. Florida is flat like SC and I don't have that problem on mine. In the mountains is a whole different story.
