Shifter Knob
 

Hey, new to this forum and this is my first post. I have a 2015 Wrangler JK automatic. I'm looking to change the gear shift knob. I'd like to change it to a "BEER TAP" handle. Has anyone tried this? Would a standard beer tap handle work?

I think with a little ingenuity, you could do just about anything that suits your taste. Biggest issue for me would just be how tall the shifter already is, and how high it would be with any tap on it.....like that picture in jedg's link.

The JK shift knob is not threaded. It just pops off of there. Threaded knobs don't fit.

Somewhere around here is a write-up where someone modded their shifter to accept standard threaded knobs, but try as I might, I can't find it... I know it involved using a pipe fitting and some JB weld... :thinking:
