Default Shock Decision

Need some opinions on the Fox 2.0 or the Fox 2.0 with remote reservoir & the King 2.0 or King 2.5 with remote reservoir. Got a 12' with 3" level kit and looking for some nice shocks. I've heard the fox are good off road but rough on highway.

Depends on the budget. Kings are top of the line but very pricey. I personally wouldn't spend the money on them because I don't need them. Fox or Bilstein 5160's would be the two I looked at. Both give a firm ride

Thanks, I was leaning towards the Fox 2.0 reservoirs because of the 2"-4" application. I have 3" up front & 2" in rear.

yeah I'm running the Fox 2.o RR and I couldn't be happier with them. Little stiffer than Bilsteins on road, but off road these shocks kill it

Don't forget about the RRD's by Rock Krawler.

I ordered the Fox 2.0 Res. Shocks with my TF 2.5 coil lift. I have not installed yet, but will give you a heads up on the shocks. I ordered the shocks for the advertised 2-4" lift, the boxes the shocks came in show 0-3" (9.6" of travel). Was like that even with the non-res. fox's, but box showed 1-3". Still trying to figure out why most places advertise 2-4" of lift and the boxes say something different. I have not heen able to get an answer yet though

Whats important is their expanded/compressed length. If that corresponds with the requirements set by the manufacturer of your lift, than there is no reason to spend any more time pondering on them...

I heard the Fox were a little stiffer ride than the Bilsteins, so I decided to go with the German company that had been around forever.
I should have them in about a week. Thanks
