Default Shock/flex questions

Hi everyone new to this forum not jeeps or k5 blazers have built a few of both.
I've done a 17/58 spring swap and 3/4 spacer lift up front and mover rear shock mount up 2 inches added abount 1.5 to the lower bump pad in the raer then removed the rear sway bar for more flex on my 2 door sport 2013 jk gonna build this to be rock crawler and slow paced trail rig when the wife's with me. Running 35/12.50 by the way. I got about 2.5 lift in front and 2 in the rear.and flexes a lot better now. Just to be said I much rather build stuff myself than just buy it and bolt it on. I have some 14" travel bilstiens laying around that are brand new. Has any one used these on ther jks for more travel not afraid to move and redo shock mounts for this. If you have done this can you help with what you did to make this work. Looking at mainly to do the front just for ease of moving upper mounts. Ido know all the other things to go along with this brake lines and such. If y'all think this can't be done let me know what shock travel your using. The reason for the question is I removed all my shocks the other day and rti,ed it went from 33 inches under highest tire with drooping tires starting to slipt on previos mods then to 37 without the shocks before the tires slipped. Any help greatly appreciated thanks

Grab some ford front shock towers, cut out a portion of your stock ones and weld the ford one in. IIRC they're $23 each. I'll get a link for you later on where someone else has done this.

Agreed i have these and they are very nice. You can fit up to 12.5 travel shocks without moving mounts, but imo 12 to 14 inch travel shocks need to be coilover or you will need a ton of lift to keep your coils from unseating.. I believe i have 34" brake lines. But even at 12.5 travel and 5" lift i had to tack weld my coils in

No problem, make sure you throw Sneck a bone for being the guinea pig on it and post up some pics when you get it done!

well not sure if this gonna work for me with my low lift seems like the other guy had about 5 cant seem to make the mounts high enough on a 2013 seems like a lot of stuff is in th way in the engine bay aNy one know of a good dual rate spring that extend longer than the metalcloack springs. Seems like I can only get about 2 more inches in the egine bay above stock mounts and I need about 5 for this to work any ideas out there
