Default Shock Help!

Hey guys!

I have a few questions about a suspension setup...
I've read through A LOT of threads but i'm new with this stuff and i'm still confused...so bare with me.

I have a 2011 JK Unlimited Sport
completely stock

Within the next 2 weeks i'm placing an order for wheels, tires, etc...

My JK is my DD, I drive mostly on the road and a occasional trail on the days off work, nothing extreme. I really don't want to lift my JK or go any bigger than a 33.

My soon to be order consists of

17x9 ProComp Series 7005 wheels
295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers
PureJeep Bare Bones Front Bumpers
TeraFlex Leveling Kit
...
^
Now this is where your advice is needed! With the leveling kit i'm going to get a little lift out of it after i install it, i read that it' s ok to run your stock shocks with the kit, is this true? will the ride be rough? i kinda want to upgrade my shocks for a better ride. I was looking into either OME or Bilstein shocks. i'm sure i need a shock with a 0-2in. rating (correct me if im wrong) so with that being said do you guys have any feedback or suggestions for another setup?

like i said i'm new at this so any info will help!
thanks in advance!

You will be fine with stock shocks. The leveling kit will only level out the front end to get rid of the factory rake.. Either brand of shocks you are looking at will be a vast improvement from stock. As for the tires, you may rub a little a full lock out while turning (depending on the back spacing of new rims). The ideal back spacing should be between 4-4.5"...

It won't be a rough ride at all? My JK won't sit to high with the leveling kit?

I installed my teraflex leveling kit last month. The ride is the same. You are still using the same shocks and springs with a leveling kit. I think it looks much better after installing the leveling kit. You should be pretty happy with the look and ride.

X2.... You may feel a slight difference in the front at first, but it's nothing dramatic. As my fellow jeeper above already stated, it will look much better as well...

I ran 295/70r17 tires with 4.7 backspacing for a few weeks until I installed my lift, I did rub a little once reversing at full turn, just be mindful of this and enjoy
