shock locked up

Default shock locked up

i got my rustys long arm upgrade on my 4" ft lift. i love it people who say that "radius arms" dont flex as good ad a ft mid arm kit are wrong this thing is awesome. ive never had my tire in my front fender well like that before i will get some pics soon. but my rear passenger bilstine shock locked up on me while i was flexed out?! i dont know why. oh well thats another 100$ do yall know why it did that?

It "might" be that your shocks are too short. But that is just a guess over the internet.

And pics please!!! Always love to see a flexed out JK.

If it was too short it could have over extended. I believe 5100's are offered in several lengths

i do have extended bump stops and its one for 4-5 in lift just orderd another and yeah i will have pics as soon as i can take some... i got grounded from my jeep

but when i cut my weel all the way my tire scrubs the control arm so im getting some spacers, im runnin 35x12.5 but i have no tread and its still doing it so i dont know how bad it will be when i get new ones.... i never had that problem... oh well

those shocks come with a really good warranty. i would contact bilstien before you purchase a new one. they might replace it. worth a try.
