Default Shock question

I've installed both the Teraflex leveling kit (netted about 1.25" overall) and Rubi 18/59 4 dr. coils (netted another 1" overall) for a total of 2.25" taller than stock on my 2008 2 dr. X. Do I need longer shocks? I haven't had it off road since installing the coils so haven't had an opportunity to test out the flex, so I'm hoping the knowledgable folks here could shed some light on it for me...

you'll be fine running the shocks you have but, you might find that running a better shock will give you a better ride. even a set of rubicon shocks are better than the x, sport or sahara shocks... at least, in my opinion. if you can't afford new shocks, you can run extensions and they would help you to have more droop as well.

From what I've read Bilstein seems to be the fan favorite. Any input on how they compare to a TF 9550 shock?

I'm in the same situation. I have a rubicon 2dr 2010 and installed 2.5" leveling kit spacers and extensions on the shocks. I hate the extensions but they work for flexing ATM. But i plan on running longer shocks for flexing reasons and rise quality.

I can't give you a comparison between the two, but I really like my Bilsteins.
