I have original shocks on my 08 JK 4 door and have had 2.5" lift for about a year now. Jeep rides really rough - should I have longer shocks to accomodate for lift? Also, 70K miles, is it probably the shocks? What is a good brand or size?

I am not an expert on this, but I would say that getting better shocks would show a huge difference in ride quality on and off road.

Did you do the budget boost that just used spacers and shock extensions?

I started a thread about upgrading shocks a week or so ago. Check it out and see if it helps!

I've had good luck with both Bilstein and OME. Buried in this link is some decent info on the Bilstein 5100 vs TeraFlex 9550 shocks...
