Default Which shock would work the best?

I purchased the RK stock mod kit for my JKUR and am about to order the shocks, and I have a few concerns Im looking at the fox 2.0 shock(non reservoir) and the OME nitrocharger sport shock. The concern I have about the Fox shock, is that is it worth the money? The concern I have about the OME shock is that it says its for a 2-2.5" lift, and I have read that the stock mod kit gets you 3" of lift on a JKU. I'm wanting a shock that can give me good ride quality, but can handle the off road really well.

Either shock should do well for you. You want to look at the actual collapsed and extended length of the shock not what size lift they say it might be for. You need to cycle your suspension and see what your measurements are when stuffed and to where your coils come unseated and find a shock length that will fit those measurements the best.

This is probably a dumb question, but is that done with the new springs installed or with the stock springs/shocks? Thanks for the advice/help!
