ride comfort is purely subjective but, the factory shocks on an x really do suck in my opinion. way to soft and bouncy. i like 5100's and OME's as they will do a much better job of firming things up without making your ride harsh. OME's are softer if that makes a difference to you.

What about the new Sport Shocks from OME ? How do they compare to the "original" OME ?

Thanks

I just helped mocar put some rubi take off coils and shocks from a 4 door hard top on his 2 door x and said the ride was much improved and he gained around 1.5" of lift from it.
Now when u gain some lift from these shocks do u need to adjust things and what are u lifting the body of the whole thing

That last comment made no sense?

If you really want a nice ride along with your levelling kit, get some rubicon shocks. Those things are cheap here on the forum. Problem solved.

Default fox

just put fox shocks on my jku. i never thought shocks made such a huge difference but it was like night and day over the bds shocks i was running. for $120 a shock compared to other good shocks that are around $80 its worh the money in my opinion. what really sold me was that the body is aluminum so they will never rust. every shock i ever had even bilstiens would eventually rust. just my opinion
