Any recommendations on shocks to go with the Rock Krawler 2.5 X factor kit?

What's your budget and driving style? Are you spending a lot of times on the road?

I am biased....

But our RS9000XL is an adjustable shock. So a 1-3 is soft 4-6 firm, 7-9 real firm.....

It is a very popular option for the JK world.

We also offer a monotube, this style has a firm/responsive on and off road handling. It is not as highly charged as other monotubes on the market.

I had a set if ProComps from their 4" lift kit. They were stiff and jarring. I don't recall the model of the shock, but I do know they were bottom of the barrel.

I lived with them for a yearish, and couldn't take it any longer. Went to Bilstiens and am happy with the ride quality. Mainly road, minimal off roading.

I haven't had any other shocks to compare, but what I'm riding on now (Bilstien 9100) is better then or close to the completely stock ride in my opinion.

Lastly, the shocks on a JK are a breeze to change in your driveway, simple bolts, don't pay to have it done.

Default Bilsteins just ok...

I sheared off Procomps in Canyonlands Maze. That was it for Procomp. Went to Bilsteins 5160s (separate reservoir) and just ok. Original set came with a leaking shock. This recent set, had one go out after 20K miles.

I hear a lot of back and forth on adjustables, but think I might give them a try. Would like to DD with a little softer ride and then tighten it all down for rocks. I will switch to Foxes.
