Default shocks?

I know this is a wierd question but here it goes. How do you know when your shocks go bad? I feel like my rear shocks have to much play on them. I recently put a new rear bumper and tire carrier and i know it added a bit of weight to it. Thanks

Push down on the front bumper and let it go, if it keeps bouncing welp I would say you need new shocks and if it doesn't you're good.

When you go over a rock and your not happy with the amount of travel your wheels have, because their limited by your shocks. LOL
If you get the bounce after the push they are way gone.

Good Luck

is it safe to assume you picked up a basic set of hydro shocks? if so, they are probably fine and just being influenced more by your new found weight.
