Default Shocks with this lift.

Ok

So i have read all the shock threads, however as many know, shocks can change the ride particularly based on the lift you might have.

So here is my question:

I have a STANDARD RE 3.5" lift. This is my daily driver and while i do wheel it I dont want the ride to be crappy on the flat top.

Should I just buy the RE shocks? Or should I get some other ones?

Any other suggestions from you guys are appreciated

The RE shocks are made by bilstien , I would go that route. For some reason my bilstiens didn't work aswell for my Teraflex springs, got the Tera shocks and all is well now. I think each spring manf trys to match their shock and springs together. Maybe not all companies but most of the higher end ones do.

Thanks!

How do you think this change from the stock shocks might effect my ride?

Thats all dependind on the person, I think my jk rode just as good as stock with the rebb and their shocks .Maybe abit firmer. I did have gas charged shocks from the factory though.

The ride quality depends on the coil/shock combination. Most quality lift kit manufacturer's do at least some reasonable coil/shock pairing. I would go with the RE shocks.

i have some rancho 9000 that would work with this lift. they have less than 1k miles on them. i am selling them.

bilstiens are better though.i run them on my other trucks. they work great on and off road.
