Default Shocks - Rancho vs. Skyjacker

Anyone have any feedback on the Rancho RS5000's vs. the Skyjacker Nitro 8000's? This would be for a stock JK X 2-door with no lift & stock springs. Looking to increase compression dampening and stiffen the ride just a bit more than stock. I'm running the (optional) stock 17" Moab wheels with the 255/75R17's.

How's the overall ride quality (both on road and light off road); shock longevity; and shock quality.

Any help greatly appreciated...Thanks!
