Default Shocks for Rock krawler 2.5 x factor

I am about to pull the trigger on a rock krawler 2.5 X factor and was curious on what shocks to get. Not looking to purchase shocks with reservoir and I have a 2 DR with just a stubby metal bumper and winch with synthetic line. Most people suggest Bilstein 5100's but I heard that they might be rough on a 2 dr. I have rancho 9000xl and I really like them but want to see if there were any better suggestions out there for around that price point.

I did Fox with my 2.5 x-factor. 0 Complaints.

Did you go with the fox 2.0 IFP or Evolution?

Shocks can definitely come down to personal preference, we have heard of people having good luck with the Ranchos. What ever your choice look on our website under the shock options for the specific kit you're looking at and match your shock choice as closely as possible to the recommended collapsed and extended lengths we have on the site!

I ran 5100s on my 2 Door a few years ago on a RK 2.5 Max Travel and loved them. It is a little bit of a stiff ride imo, but that's always been my preference. If you can, drive some of your buddies rigs and see what you like! Good luck!

I just installed the same lift with the Fox 2.0's. Whichever are the aluminum ones... Northridge had a deal for Black Friday and may still have a deal on them. About $120 each before the discount if I remember correctly.
