Default Shocks and springs

Have 2.5" spacers on my 4door jeep wrangler and was thinking of adding a 2" body lift. I have factory shocks and springs on it right now, if I added the body lift would I NEED new shocks or springs?

You would need shock extensions, and I would seriously consider coil retainers to prevent your could from popping of the perch while flexing.. If you go with "longer" springs, you might as well do away with BL and spacers and just do a 4" coil lift.

what he said, a body lift will not effect suspension travel and therefore, you will not need new shocks to accomodate it.

This is true for a body lift, but for 2.5" spacers (BB) you will want extensions and longer sway bar links...

I'd ask around in your staging area and see if any fellow jeepers are willing to give you a hand. Most are always willing to help out....
