Howdy,
I'm new to the board so I apologize if this is a repeated thread or if this is in the wrong place. I have checked out a lot of your threads and have become somewhat overwhelmed, so I am looking for some "easy" answers. Hopefully you can help.
I just traded in my old TJ (it breaks my heart) for a new JK 4 door X and am looking to get it to respectable driving conditions. What I would like to know is what I NEED to do in order to run either 33x12.5 or (hopefully) 35x12.5. I've read about regearing and lifting and spacing and axles till they've mushed my brain, but I want to make sure I am not doing to much (or too little).
Any help would be great. Thanks

This will help with the tire size. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...74&postcount=3
You shouldn't have much problem, w/o a lift, with 33" tires, but you may need wheels with less back spacing or wheel spacers to prevent rubbing. For 35" tires you would probably need a 2.5" or 3" lift.
