short arm vs. long arm...?
Joe...I sent you an email about installation. Thanks again for the info!
I just want this thing to be able to handel desert runs as well as crawling in the rocks.
I have the TeraFlex 3" LCG long arm with Elka shocks and Speed Bumps on my 2-dr JK and I love it!. For some background I started four wheeling back in 1972. I've had trucks, Jeeps, ATVs and a buggy. This JK with long arms is by far the most capable and most fun all around Jeep I've driven. It has great articulation for rock crawling and is very stable when I want to go fast on dirt roads. On road ride and handling are much better than stock. An on road example is a 2 lane highway near me that has a series of S turns through a canyon, posted speed 65 with warning signs at 55. When stock I would slow to 55 because of body lean. Now I just leave the cruise on 70 and drive through the turns without much body lean. I injured my back on the job and was forced to retire. This lift is much easier on my back than stock. My wife says it's much easier to drive now. She drove her first trails in Moab a couple weeks ago.
I sound like a salesman don't I. I'm not I just believe in longarms and TeraFlex.

I bought my parts from Northridge. Give David a call and he can give you exact current pricing and free shipping. Also, he installs this lift and will make sure you get everything needed. TeraFlex was very helpful when I needed information and provided guidance to the shop that did the install. Hope this helps you.
