The noise from the t-case is getting worse. It just sounds obnoxious now. Should I get my bumper welded and fixed before I take it in to get it looked at??

Call your insurance, I work as a claims ajuster. I see no reason why your insurance company would not cover all of the damages. There is no exclusion for off-roading, depending who you have. Rear the policy jacket they sent you when you took out your policy.
Dealers typicaly will not cover abuse. even mod-friendly dealers will question that one.

Hmmmmm, no offense to the insurance adjusters, but some will find any excuse to not pay out I hope they don't give you flak cause you cut/modified your bumper

I would definitely get the transfer case checked out first. Don't want that thing blowing out and stranding you somewhere. And if it is repairable it will certainly be cheaper to have it serviced then replacing the entire t-case. Your insurance should cover at least some of it, that's why you pay to have it after all. Might see a little spike in monthly premiums if they do though. I'm betting your next Jeep mod will be a bumper with d-rings attaching directly to the frame rails
