Should I cut it or sell it?
I have the Smittybilt SRC front bumper and want to go another route. I'm debating whether I should cut the wings off and make it more of a stubby type bumper, or I should just sell it and buy something smaller.
I'm thinking an angle grinder would make quick work of the job, but re-doing or trying to match the textured powdercoat finish could be a huge pain. Trying to cut through the welds where the tubes join in the middle without cutting through the upper tube may be kinda tricky. Plus if I cut it and then try and sell it, it might not be wanted by anyone. Any opinions??

If the end product would be what you're looking for, then I'd say cut it. I would however use a saws-all with a good metal blade on it and take my time. Grind down your rough edges, file your burs and paint it with plasti-coat. That would solve your worries of matching the texture.
