I have 35x12.50r17 BFG KM2's on my daily driver and have nothing against them. The ride isn't quite as good as the stock KMs, but I can't complain. It isn't any noisier, just a bit different. I think it is completely worth it for both the extra clearance and the looks.

Anyone near you that has them so that you can try them out on another Jeep before buying? Might help you make a decision.

Looked at your profile to see if you have auto or stick and it is blank. If you have the auto and can't do a gear change at this time I would not get the 35s. With the stick you can get along with them if you have the rubi or the x with at least the optional 3.73s. You won't use 6th gear much with the 35s but it is doable.

If you are thinking 35's you should do it. Otherwise you will regret it every time you look at smaller tires. Mine is a DD and I run 35's with no issues but I did regear to 4.88's.

how far is your commute? im betting its way less than the 120 and 70 posted above. I would run them on a daily if my daily drive was less than 20 miles a day. not because of the ride quality. but because of the gas.

i drive 70 miles round trip daily,

70/15mpg= 4.6
4.6 x ~$3 a gallon = $13.8 a day
$13.80 X 5 = $69 a week

$69x4weeks= $276 a month. (not doing anything but going to work)

so, i leased a honda civic (40 mpg) at $132 a month. (15k miles a year)

I pay $90 a month for insurance for both the jeep and the civic.

save myself the miles on the vehicle i own. and just use the jeep for the weekend, and breaking things off road!

Get the 35s. Unless you plan on going up to a 37 in the future.
