Should I get another alignment?
If I've installed a TF 2.5" coil lift and had it aligned after the install. I want to now add 35" tires. Will I need another alignment? The fist alignment was done with the stock Rubi 32" tires.

Which coil lift did you get? Do you have adj CA's, cams, or still have stock fixed arms?

See how it drives after you get the tires on. Recenter the steering wheel if they did not do it, and toe it in a bit if you need to.

Thank you TF. I asked b/c I want an alignment right after the lift goes on, but am no where close to finding an internet retailer selling 35" tires & 16" wheels. So, I'm getting the lift on and aligned, then the wheels/tires will go on when I find them.
Are you sure you read the good advice you've been given in this thread? If you're paying someone to do an alignment and you haven't installed LCAs or other adjustable components, YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY! And, if the shop decides, they may do certain, undesirable mod's to your rig to do the alignment.

What they are trying to tell you is that you can do the so called "alignment" yourself in a matter of 15 min. or less. The only thing you can adjust is the track bar which is easy, toe in/out which is easy, and the steering wheel which is even easier. There are write ups on this forum that describe in detail with photos on how to do this your self in the driveway.

Do yourself a huge favor and do it all yourself. (If you even need any of it after the new tires go on...)
The DIY encouragement on this forum is intense! I guess I will be buying an ass-load of tools this week, then. Right now, I only own a ball-peen hammer and duct tape; and, have never even done an oil-change, really.
Lol, that's because the things we're suggesting you do are seriously easy. Just grab one of those basic 50-whatever piece tool kits for $20 and get dirty. Change your own oil and the tools just paid for themselves. (hell, do the diffs yourself instead of paying the dealer and go grab a ProCal with the money you just saved...)
Anyway, no reason at all to pay someone else for the easy stuff when you can spend the money on new mods!
