I have a 2012 and want to re gear from 3.21. 4.10s I think would be perfect for my 33s and still work good when I go to 35s or even 37s. Only thing is 4.10s will run about 1600 installed or I could get 4.88 from ORE for 999 installed. They also said maybe 4.56. For 999. Have to call them again.
Would it be worth it to just spend the extra on 4.10s now to make it more drivable or would 4.88 do okay. The extra money saved would almost pay for an arb with 4.88 but I don't want to ruin drivability on road

I'm in the same boat. I'm just gonna do 4.56's. Will be turning some RPM's on the highway, but will accelerate nicely with the 3.6 motor. Will help improve the crawl ratio as well.

If later upgrading to 35's, 4.56's will be a nice ratio.

I'm running factory 3;73's with 34' tires and I'm not planning on going any bigger and truck runs great. If your gonna run 35's I think 4;11's would be perfect.

I'm running 4.56 on 35" with my 3.6/manual.. It's the best combo! I would recommend for any style driving. I tow with it and all, pulls hills doing 65mph and can still accelerate.. When I had the 3.21 with 32's I would have to down shift to even maintain 65mph..

Remember a Rubicon is designed from the factory with 32" tires and 4.10 gears. Although the 3.6L with 4.10's will push 35" tires I think if you end up with 37's it might feel like your original 3.21's. Go with the 4.56, not too low and not too high! Just my $0.02.

Did you have them done in so cal? 4.56s seem hard to find. I'll have to call ORE and see about 456 for the 999 deal they have.

I guess it really depends on what tire size you eventually go with. If you feel like you will eventually go with 37's, while the 4.10's would work fine, I would rather have the 4.56's. Anything less than the 37's, I would stick with 4.10's
