My OEM ball joints lasted 77,000 miles. I replaced them with Synergy ball joints in 2014. The new ones now have 140,000 miles on them and they are still good.

I check for wear and grease them at each 3,000 mile tire rotation.

RonJenx : Actually thats good news as well . i e mailed poly performance and they informed me there was a bad batch in 2016 - 17 but i had got these in 2014
when i ordered the synergy ball joints So that was a bit of good news too . Im gonna put them in . Did you C gussett your jeep ? I had bought the evo gussett kit way back then too and never put them in (welded) seeing i didnt have the axle apart didnt want to fry the ball joints . I usually run the 33 nitto trail graplers and are heavy i think like more heavy than most 35" due to the fact they were e rated tires maybe / but im wondering if i should have them weld them c gussetts in when the axles are disassembled doing new ball joints ? I mean i havent had them welded in all this time at 97.000 miles it makes me wonder if i really never needed them in first place . I also have life time warrenty on drive train So i have to wonder if they would prob say i messed with the drive train by welding in gussetts for the c if i had a seal go or something
I dont take it into narly stuff any way . Just in the fall when im in the woods on H. tention lines or something . Not sure if its worth it at this point , You know?
Leaving it alone , i can always put the stock tires and wheels back on wich i generally use. and take it into dealer if i had to use my warranty but they always try to find a way out of warrenty stuff anyway . Was wondering what you did ? mines a dana 44 not that it matters inside the axles are same ive read as the dana 30 im certainly not going to start sleeving it at 100,000 miles im having Steves jeep do the ball joints and axle joints just because i cant deal with the rusted bolts on there now being up where we are East coast rust belt (some of the bolts to hubs dont even look like a socket will go on so rotted) plus no vise to use here etc.. 500 to do 4 joints plus axle joints isnt that bad seeing , run into issues on that stuff maybe
BTW do you use synergy greese? or what ? on those ball joints. i was thinking just go with standerd high temp greese the red stuff and see . but notthat familiar with these parts
