Shrockworks Slider Install Question
Okay, this really is a pain in the @$$...
What about one of these options...
1. Drill the 21/64" hole in the rear-leg upper and use the self tapping there, since there is easy access to the upper on the mid-leg. I'd still have to figure out the lower bolt on the rear-leg, but maybe I'd use option 2. below as well.
2. I could drill a 7/8 (or slightly smaller hole) in the side of the frame rail to provide a finger access to the rear-leg bolt holes. I would drill it as close to middle of the rail, to the rear of the bolt holes to avoid welds and minimize any reduction in strength to the frame.
Anybody got any thoughts on this? Like, "Hey man, that's a REALLY bad idea!!"
Thanks!
