Default Side Marker Removed Completely?

Ok guys heres one thats kicking my ass. I did the fender chop a long time ago and just tucked the side marker bulbs up and away. I finally want to remove them completely without having my blinkers flash really fast. Im thinking I can just splice 2 wires together and make it think there on, but i cant find anywhere confirming this or showing how to. All I am finding are how to add led markers..I could be retarted, but ive been searching awhile. Can i just splice the 2 wires and leave the black grounded?

No. You shouldn't do that. Best case u would need a resister in place of bulb, but just unhook it and forget about it.

Unhooked it on my 07, and doing my 13 this week. (Cutting fenders).

as i suspected with my bulb unplugged my blinker blinks fast like the bulbs burnt out. think its possibly the wires before the bulb plug? I should be able to get a resistor and run the 2 wires together correct?

What bulb are you removing? The blinkers in the front? What other side marker light is there than the ones that are on the stock fenders? Not sure why they would effect the blinker

I have PSC flares and just removed the marker light and left the 2 wires unconnected and taped.

good point, i ran the blinker mod on the stock side markers. then i cut the side markers and tucked the lights away. The mod is why its effecting my blinker, essentially i can just undo that. Got it now, i was going crazy, i forgot it didnt come from the factory blinking...
