Default Side Protection

I have a 2012 JKUR with 2.5 AEV DS XT lift and 35x12.50 Nittos. I Put the lift on and on the way home my stock rear fender flares were pepped by gravel...so I just put Bushwhacker pocket flares on. Pain in the ass to install, but I needed the protection and liked the looks. They work except there is still an angle where my tires can throw debris onto my doors. I'm going to replace my stock rubi rock rails(any takers? haha) with some sort of side step. I would still like to have the side rail protection instead of plastic bolt ons...but I can be swayed b/c the terrain I encounter is mud/snow, logging trails...and at some point I will get out and walk when I think of the monthly payments. The main use for my Jeep is not a daily driver, but I don't want to tear it up on the roads on the way to the trails. Top view pics of rail/step combos would be greatly appriciated as well as any advice. Thanks guys

Keep your rubi rails and get ace sliders. My friend has them on his jeep and the protect any rock chips even mud from hitting the doors.

I also have the Ace rails. Good product at a good price. You will lose about 1 to 1 1/2 inches of clearance though if thats important to you.
