Question Silly re-gear question?

I have a 6spd w/3.21 gears. Last week, I took my JK on a trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons and pulling the passes was a challenge, at best. I am going to switch to 4.10 gears and want to know if anyone out there can tell me if there is a difference in the carriers or can I buy someone's take-off 4.10s, buy new installation kits and install them with the stock carriers?

Thanks!

3.73 is the breakoff for the different carrier, you will need a carrier to go from 3.21 to 4.10.

For how much it is gong to cost you to regear, just bite the bullet and get D44 rubi axles. Much better bang for the buck.

The JK D44 gears all use the same carrier (except for the Rubicon being selectable locker). They are all "thick" gears. The front carrier would have to be changed out, but you could probably pick one up used for CHEAP.
