Default Simple fix for loose d-rings

So I got my new bumper installed and when I put the d-rings in I noticed how loose they were and I did not want to mess up the powder coat or have them bouncing around when I hit a bump. So I went to Home Depot and bought a piece of 1" black PVC. I had a 1.5" opening in my d-rings and a 1/2" mount. I cut 2 pieces of PVC to 1/2" each and used a dremel and file to get them to just the right fit, tight before the bolt was inserted. After I tightened the bolts they don't move at all, I can yank on them real hard and they will move so they will work when needed, but for now they hang straight down and don't move at all. Just what I was looking for. They look better than the pics as the flash makes them look lighter in color then they really are due to the finish. Anyway for less than $2 and a trip to home depot I can have my d-rings on at all times and no noise or unwanted scratches.

Electrical tape works great. Over year and not one single bang from my Drings. No scratches, completely quiet
