Default skids / armor...???

okay... so i'm not yet looking to lift and go big on the tires just yet but want to do some trails and such and that may cause some need for skid plates. Obvious to me are the rock rails but post rails, what order would it make sense to start adding the armor to the jku in and will any of them need to be replaced solely based on a lift or other modifications?

thanks!

Your factory skids pretty well have you covered underneath. Most people would recommended an oil pan skid (or replacement), Diff covers and rock sliders..

That should be plenty. There is a huge thread on this but I cant find it.

I have RR Side Armor and lets just say that day after turkey day it saved me from the 500 insurance deductable 2 times. Enough siad, they are tough and they are much cheaper and fixing the side of your rig.

I did the exact same thing. After reading all the threads (afterwards of course), I probably went overkill, but my previous off road ventures were in my WK and the skid plates on that are crucial. I did the full RockHard skid package, the rugged ridge front skid, and the riddler diffi covers. I also put on the 4 dr Rubicon springs, so I got a bit of a lift. I figure I might not be able to go over as much stuff and the "real" lifts with big tires, but at least if it scrapes along the way, it's hitting the armor.
