Default Skuds for the shock mounts

As anyone ever had any luck with protecting this area?

Either a ready made skid or one you made?

I've got a friend with a machine/ fabrication shop and tons of welding experience

Move the mounting point up and cut about 3" off the low hanging fruit that is your control arm bracket. Problem solved and you have more ground clearance.

Amazon.com: Rugged Ridge 18003.36 Black Rear Control Arm Skid Plate: Automotive

I have these front and rear and even tho they are rugged ridge they have done a good job of protecting the shock mounts.

I see now. I assumed he was just looking for large missiles for shocks.

Evo Rockstar's FTW
I have the MC brackets but 3" is way to much without relocating the upper or shorter shocks.

I've beat the shit out of these for over a year and am very happy with them. http://www.rebeloffroad.com/Jeep-Low...oe-grinder.htm

I recommend drilling a hole on the bottom of the skid to drain collected water, etc.
