Default Skyjacker 2.5"

I'm thinking about getting the Skyjacker 2.5" from quadratec, with their nitro shocks. (this exact one http://www.quadratec.com/products/16117_100X_B_PG.htm)

Now for the questions.

Do I need to do anything with the brake lines, swaybar links or anything else?

Will this kit fix the rake also, or do I need to get some 3/4 spacers for the front? I'm still stock up on the front end, no winch or bumper... yet

i would highly recommend that you buy and install brake line extensions for the rear. nothing is needed up front. if you have a rubicon, you should consider getting new longer rear sway bar links and then installing the factory links up front.

DO NOT install the rear track bar relocation bracket!! this thing is responsible for breaking many many factory mounts and is dangerous. for now, just run with your axles off center and install adjustable track bars when you can afford them.

regarding the rake, i would get the lift first and see. if you still feel the need to address the rake, get spacers at that time.

Is this the case for all track bar relocation brackets?

What affect would it have on a Sahara or X to install new longer rear links and moving the factory rear links up front?

I think just for some of the weaker axle mounted brackets.

only for ones that mount to the axle like this one. frame mounted drop brackets will not have this problem.

it would just restore the position of your swaybar back to stock but it's only really necessary with the rubicon as the short front links can invert when disconnected.

I just installed this lift....heres my thoughts. The axles were off about 3/4 of an inch. I didnt like the way it looked and felt driving. Installed JKS front and rear adjustable trackbars. Drives much better...feels like it should. Do not buy skyjacker steering stabilizer it is a POS in my opinion. I had a slight shake in steering wheel, put original SS back on and no more shake. I am very happy with the lift and ride. Track bars made me feel much safer about driving.

Im am no way an expert, just giving you my thoughts.

Edit: Forgot to tell you, you have to buy the trackbar reinforcement bracket separately, if you go with the trackbar relocation bracket.

the additional brace apparently is useless. there is another member here who still suffered breaking even with the additional bracket.
