Default Skyjacker 2.5" vs. TF 2.5"

Please post if you have an opinion or preferrably experience with one or the other. Have an '08 unlimited x. Plan to run 35s.

Question about TF:

Will get new shocks, but how many also have 3/4 spacers? Any other parts needed?

Question about Skyjacker:

Don't see much of anyone running this on the site. If you are, what considerations need to be considered/purchased?

I've narrowed down to these two. If anyone reading has a strong opinion about another set up (budget conscious of course) chime in.

There is a thread here somewhere regarding the best BB.....based on what I've read in my short time here on the site...Teraflex seems to be the way to go. I've got mine going on Friday. I'll let you know how it is after the weekend.

So far, overwhelming support for the Teraflex 2.5" BB, and essentially none for the Sky Jacker... Not much mention at all really. Overall, SJ doesn't have much credence where I wheel anyway....so I pretty much ignore it as an option anyway.

I installed the TF this weekend and I have to say it is one the most well built, well designed lifts I have seen. I replaced my FT 2" BB with the TF 2.5" and I was really impressed. The FT was good but the TF is much, much better in terms of completeness. The only negative I can say is that the instructions were lacking.....thankfully Wayoflife has a very detailed write-up that saved me a lot of time cursing.

Remember for us 2 door JK-ers what there is no 2.5" Skyjacker Kit,,,

That is why I went with the TF 2.5 BB.

Love my Tera BB! 8000 miles and it works great. If you are planning on the spacers to compensate for a winch/bumper, Teraflex makes a HD version. It comes with coils up front instead of spacers.

Default I'm a newbie, but...

I had my 07 Sahara Unlimited lifted by Jeff Daniels Jeep Customizations in PA... they set me up w/ the Skyjacker 2.5 lift and so far it's great. I have no complaints.

I went with their suggestion, as I'm a newbie (only my second wrangler).

Hey - how'd you get heated seats? My wife was dying for that, and it wasn't an option.

The dealer had actually had them done custom... they are great. Here's a pic.

(and don't worry, I don't have blinds on my back windows... that's my garage window showing through)
