Default SKYJACKER 3.5+1.75 spacers

Hello everyone, brand new to the forum. Any day now my coil spacers should be here. I have the standard 3.5 lift and decided to add these on all four corners,as I have lost about 1/4 inch due to the addition of the Smitty Built bumper and soon to ad winch, plus,I am sure the coils have settled a little in a years time also. Jeep still has the stock arms. Has anyone successfully ran this combo, or have there been problems encountered, such as alignment or stability issues? I have extended my brake lines as well.

Should this combo work fine for me? Thanks

Are you still running stock shafts? Auto or stick?

Lets just say for a hypothetical situation that your lift has settled down to 2.5in then you add 1.75in spacers, this is over 4inches total. On a 2dr your looking at getting adj frt lower control arms for castor and rear uppers to adjust the pinion angle for the new driveshaft you will be needing. You'll probably be having to get a new frt driveshaft aswell. You'll also need a way to more acurrately center your axles, in steps front and rear adj track bars. And this is considered to be a minimum for lifting a jk over 4inches. Drop pitman arm and control arm drop bracket to get your steering geometry right may be needed aswell. Alot of stuff has to be done to get your jk to handle right when you have that much lift. I'm not trying to discourage you , just kindas lettin you know what your in for.

If you have a 6peed your frt driveshaft may be good for awhile, rear is probably gonna go pretty quick. How much off-roading do you do?

Course you could just put em on and see if you can live with the way it handles, and get a piece at a time. But your rear DS may be the first to go. It's probably close to it's limits now.

Oh man, that's a lot of stuff for sure. I put it up an inch 3/4 with the floor jack and looked at everything I could think of. I didn't think the drive shafts would be too short. This is Jeep number 4 for me,had CJ's and YJ's. May need to just do a 1" body lift and call it quits..

Thanks

I only off road this Jeep to get to my fishin' holes and hunting spots. No real wheelin' or flexing.
