Default skyjacker lift issues?

i was woundering if anyone else has had the issue i am having. i have a skyjacker 6'' long arm kit and recently have been getting the death wobble. i noticed if i pushed directly back on the front tires, the heim joint from the lower control arm has slop in it where it attaches to the axle. So i ordered the reubuild kits for them and put them in this weekend. well that did not fix the slop at all. could it be that the the heim joint part itself be bad all together? since its a adjustable control arm i can just get the lower part but its around $80 and i dont want to buy both of them and still have the same issue. anyone else experience this or have any ideas?

Or it could be the fact that Skyjacker sucks, lol....

Regardless, I am sorry to here you are running into an issue. Could be the heim, could be something as simple as a loose bolt/nut, could be poor craftsmanship... Is it when you hit hard bumps? Brake hard? Around turns? Certain speeds?

well i do regret going with skyjacker but im stuck with it for now. i know the bolts are thight becuase i had to take them off to do the rebuild kit and i torqued them down when i was done. it happens on a bumpy road with speeds of 20-40mph. not so much around turns. i usually can break or accelerate out of the wobble. i was just thinking now that maybe the bolt itself is not the perfect diameter as the ball opening inside the heim joint. im going to take it back appart and see how the bolt fits in the heim while not bolted in.

If there is ANY play in the bolt, even a hair....that COULD be a start. Again, we are trying to pin-point the issue over a computer with minimal "hands-on" abilities...

was this built in stages? Or did you go all-out with a 6" LA kit with ALL the components needed?

it was built all in one shot, whole kit.

hmmmm..... I'm thinking, I'm thinking.... if I happen to come up with another possible culprit, I'll come back and post. In the meantime, check that bolt like you said maybe? Or better yet, maybe another member will chime in...

anyone else have ideas? i replaced all the bolts up front with 9/16 bolts and i still have issues. the whole front axle still moves directly back when you push on the front tires.
