Default Skyjacker Rear Trackbar Bracket & Brace

Has anyone experienced a rear trackbar bracket failure after installing the additional brace?

I realize there were lots of failures before the additional brace, just wanted to hear from anyone that has had, or knows of, a failure after installing the additional brace (picture 3).

I believe the Skyjacker lift is sold under several different names. Looks like the Rugged Ridge ORV lift is the same thing. And locally, Fortec sells their own lift kit, which is a modified RR ORV kit, which they say is made by Skyjacker.

Wow.......thats the first I've seen of that. From what I've read those Skyjacker (and other manufacturer equivelents) are usually pretty solid...

My Jeep is a "Fortec" **laugh** lifted Jeep and I know for a fact its a Skyjacker lift so I have the same diff. mounted brace. 18.5k so far without any issue, although these pictures make me want to get an adjustable rear track bar.....

That is good to hear that you have not had any issues. I really like the Fortec shop here in Atlanta. The guys working in back really seem to know what they are doing. They said they have seen lots of failure issues before the addition of the differential brace.

That's exactly what happened to me. It is really not a brace, but a relocation bracket that
raises the trackbar. Breaking is a common problem. I bought a JKS brace and had it
welded on, now no problems.

Yes, that is what my post said. You did not read the question or entire post.

The 3rd picture is of the additional brace that Skyjacker now includes. My question is if anyone had had a failure after adding the new brace that connects to the differential.

The first picture is the bracket the original kits came with, and picture 2 is the results of this bracket.

What lift is this? I also have a SkyJacker lift (5" value flex) but my brace looks different than yours. I haven't had any problems with mine, but now you have me worried!!!

I believe Skyjacker generally uses the same relocation bracket for lifts between 2.5 and 4 inches. The top hole is used for the larger lifts. The brace from the differential to the bracket is the newer piece they began using after all of the failures.

I removed the Skyjacker bracket and had the JKS brace welded on with the JKS adjustable
trackbar. But....under full flex, the sway bars were hitting the tires. So removed the
welded JKS brace and added the Teraflex brace which also rasies the bolt hole for the
trackbar to bolt to. Now no sway bar hitting the tires. I had to do this since I added the
Rock Star shock skids which upped the shock an inch or so causing more flex.
