Default sloppy steering

I have a rough country lift with 33" tires I put new ball joints on and had a alignment done. I will be driving straight and it will just sway in the road and when I hit a bump it jerks me over. Any suggestions. ...?

How tall is the lift? Which specific parts came in the lift? Where they all used? What are the alignment specs? What psi are you running in the tires? Were all suspension bolts torqued while on the ground under vehicle weight, or in the air? How long have the balljoints been in?

If you used a drop pitman arm check to see if it tight on the steering box.
Just stand outside the jeep with window down an turn the wheel back an forth. An watch the arm. If it moves up and down it loose.

4" lift?
You are describing bump steer. Fill out your profile and give some more details to your set up and we will steer you in the right direction.

Ive been having the same issue with my RC 3.5" lift. I've narrowed it to the drop pitman arm. It just wont stay tight.

If you have a drop pitman arm just replace it with a stock one. Also loose the cam bolts if you have them and get something like adj. control arms. I also got an adj. track bar and upgraded the bolts. All that and it drives perfect. My Jeep came with a 4" RC lift when I bought it used,

The trackbar bracket needs to come off also if he goes back to a stock pitman.

Yes thanks for mentioning that. I removed the stock track bar bracket and used an adj. track bar in it's place. You can use both if you have 6" of lift.
