Default small lift

OK,, you guys helped alot in my search for a bumper. Now how about on a lift.
I have a 2008 JK Sahara. I want to do a lift that I will not have to change drive shafts. And I don't plan to put huge tires on. This Jeep will be my daily driver and set up to tow behind our motor home. And some minor off road stuff.
So what's the best... EMU,, terriflex,,Skyjacker. I know there are a lot of choices and a lot of reading on this site,, almost to much to diggest

I got about an 1" 3/4 out of Unlimited Ruby shocks & springs. I figure that and a 1" BL and I can run 33's all day long. It's super cheap to do it too. I found shocks on Ebay for $90 and the springs were dealer throwaways.

That or one the typical 2.5 BB kits. LOTS of Jeeps here are running that combo with 33's.

I have the 2.5" teraflex BB and I have absolutely no complaints. Well disigned lift for the price and teraflex has an excellent reputation for customer service. My only complaint is that I didnt buy 35"s. Oh and you my want to look at quick disconnects while you are shopping around, they will make all the difference.

and not to highjack but 1 3/4" out of swapping springs?!! wow that is impressive, i have thinking about swapping mine in addition to my BB.

yup but you have to be careful about your spring selection as there are soooo many different springs for these JK's. I had bought & paid for a set from a 2 door rubi, same dang part number as what came factory on my base X, front & rear. Later on I found a set of Unlimited Rubi springs and the fronts were noticably longer. Once installed, certainly stiffer. The Jeep handles MUCH better now. So the key is to get HD 4 door springs for your 2 door. probably doesn't even need to be a Rubi, I bet any Unlimited with tow package would work the same. the factory X shocks SUCK compared to the Rubi shock. It's a good, cheap mod.

First you need to decide on a tire size. Sounds like your looking for 33's. Just install a BB and you'll be happy.

No driveline problems, and no gearing issues to to worry aboutd

My shout goes to the OME Med Duty and adjustable track bars all the way around it yielded between 2-2.5 inches for me and leveled her out and rides better than it did stock........... and the off road performance is amazing!
