Smittybilt 2781 and 35s
Got a new compressor today the Smittybilt 2781. After a long consideration of running on onboard air or a portable compressor. I went with the tiny ARB for my air lockers and a portable smittybilt 2781.
Here are my findings.
Dropped the air pressure of all my on ground tires Cooper Discovery STT Pros 315/70/R17 to 15 PSI and filled them up.
I normally run them at 30 PSI and so I start to air and this compressor is fast compared to my mv50.
Each tire took 1:45 exactly to fill it up to 30 PSI.
The gauge in the compressor itself is off by 4 PSI but now I know. The hose and compressor were hot definitely would not want to touch similar to rapid firing 30rds in an ar15. You don't want to touch the barrel but cooled down enough to be store back in a bag in 5-10 mins.
Just thought I would share.

I'll have to try to repeat this with my recent Viair compressor purchase to see if there's even a difference. It was on sale otherwise it would still be on Amazon and this Smitty would be in the backseat.
Thanks Karl let us know. I really like this compressor but the size is kind of a downside. Which Viair did you get?
I just got a new 2781 and am not sure what type of air hose connections it has. I have industrial and they do not fit and the connections do not look like automotive type. So don't know what to get
