Default Smittybilt Soft Top Storage Boot with Tuffy Security Deck

Will the boot fit with the security deck attached? Thinking about ordering the boot.

I ordered the deck. Hope it gets delivered today and I will install it tomorrow. I just don't know what boot to get. On the stock jk section guys say the Mopar one includes storage for the windows, hence the more expensive price. You can get a Smittybuilt one for 50 bucks and a clover bag for under 80 to store the windows. Not sure if they both would work together though.

Did you get the deck installed? How do you like it?

Were you able to get the Tuffy security enclosure to work with your soft top boot cover? I am under the impression that they are not compatible.

I had a 2010 JK with the Tuffy Security Deck and the Smitty soft top boot. The boot will not fit with the Security Deck unless modified, as the deck sits up above the tailgate. I had mine modified by a local automotive upholstery shop, and they did an outstanding job. Since I sold the 2010, both Boot and Deck are both for sale (will ship boot).

Do mind sharing a little more detail about how they modified the boot? I've had my deck installed for a while and I bought a boot from Quadratec a few weeks ago, not even thinking there might be a fitment issue. I've already tossed the box for the boot or I would just return it. So it looks like I'm left with having mine modified as well or just selling it.
