For some reason, I wouldn't trust a cage from Smitty. I see how easily their bumpers and "rock rails" fold over at the first hit...

Anyone installed or seen this cage installed (testing)? Been in testing forever. Now they are saying it will be out in Dec. Looks like the cage used on the Falken tire Jeep but not sure.

Twisty101,
The cage in our JK is from Rock Hard.

I just installed the OR-Fab cage with floor mounts. I'm very happy with it and highly recommend it.

First post, so be gentle.

The price is right, but I think the Rock Hard is the only kit that allows use of a hardtop. Of course it has that bar across the dash thing. Being able to utilize a hardtop is important to me because my Rubi is a daily driver and hard tops are nice up here in the Great White North (Ohio).

Nope. I run my hardtop (which is my only top) with my Or-Fab cage. No leaks, no squeaks, no whistles. Plus, at least as far as I know, the Or-Fab kit is the only bolt-in kit that ties the front part of the cage all the way down to the floor tub of the JK.
