Default SMittybilt SRC with Fog Lights?

I am looking at purchasing the Smittybilt SRC front bumper for my 2010 unlimited sport but I really want to keep my factory fog lights. Has anyone tried to modify the SRC bumper to keep the factory fog lights or does anyone know if there are any plans for Smittybilt to address this in the near future?

The SRC bumper is definitely the style of bumper I want but I don't want to loose the factory fog lights. I would almost rather spend twice as much and go with the Rugged ridge XHD modular bumper base and the RRC mount to achieve the same look. However, I'm trying to avoid spending that extra money.

I would really appreciate any input anyone can provide.

Thanks

I have not seen anything like this set up yet. What I did was buy some KC lights and mounted those onto the bumper. And instead of wiring up the new lights and a switch, I just spliced the wires from the KC lights into the wiring for my existing fog lights. That way all I have to do us use my fog light switch. It was much easier that way. Just my opinion.

I have the same bumper and heard of doing the same thing. I believe the stock fog wiring supports a max of 55watts so you wanna make sure whatever lights you get arent more powerful than that

Well, you're right on the 55 watt max. But I'm using 100 watt pro comps connected to my fog switch. Probably not the best, but sometimes you gotta work with it

Thanks Guys. That is what I thought I was going to have to do. I guess I'd rather get a set of 55W Hella or Procomp fogs than spend another $400+ for the other RR bumper set-up.

FloBraJK,
Where are those pics taken of you wheelin in your albums? I'm in Dacula not to far from you and I don't recognize that area.

Thanks

I just ordered a ARB Rockbar front bumper and will be using Delta Tech 150's which are 55w each. I've got a 2010 Rubi and want to use my existing fog light switch on my turn signal. Can I get away without using a realy or will it work without it?

As long as they are 55W you shouldn't need any additional wiring or relays. Just splice them into the orginal wiring harness.
