Default Smittybilt SRC Rear bumper

Picked up a rear from a friend of a friend. Went to install, but the 4 holes in the frame don't match up with the holes in the bumper. About a 1/4" off. Looking for opinions. Drill the frame or the bumper?

Seems like I run into that problem a lot myself. I would say the bumper and be sure to paint the new hole before installing. My front frame looks like Swiss cheese from the different bumpers I've put on.

When I installed mine, one of the holes did not line up on drivers side. I had to oval it out to get the bolt to go through. I still have to drop the muffler to drill one of the hitch bolt holes out to get the bolt through. There QC sucks, but I still like the looks.

Yep. Front bumper went on smooth. Side rails were sent back twice. Finally just told place where I ordered them to make them fit. Can't beat the look once we get them on. Was starting to think it was just my rig.

I have the front xrc and after 8 hours of hammering, and using a bottle jack to open up the frame I gave up and took it to my local collision center to have it installed, 45 bucks and 20 minutes later it looked awesome. Cant wait to get the src rear with tire carrier but I'm definitely gonna skip the self installation attempt and just take it straight to the body shop

I know there made in china, but can not they even make jigs, or are they just eye balling with the holes.

i have been looking at these bumpers too, how heavy is the front src? did you loose any of your lift with it?

Not sure of the weight, but I didn't notice much if any.

I love mine, looks and everything I didn't notice any sagging. Probably 20 pounds heavier than the factory? Maybe a little bit more.
