Guess I was lucky... Mine fit perfectly - no grinding required.

Not sure about the SRC's but I had the XRC's and after less than 1000 miles I determined that the Gawd Awful squeak coming from the chassis was the sliders....they now sit in my garage for sale...... and no more squeak.....I am going with JCR Offroad for not much more money than the Smitty's....

Had the same issue. Mine was due to them resting on the rear UCA brackets. Went and got me a grinder and cut wheel and took about 1/4 off the slider where it was touching and now it's just as quiet before I had them. It amazing how much noise transferred just from that - I could here every little squeak, creak, flex, and so on - but this solved it for me.

I love the look of the Smittybilts but I've read too many bad things about the quality. Personally I went with ACE. I wish they hugged the body a bit more like they Smittys but the quality, price and warranty can't be beat.

Additionally, I have the step version that are 3 tube with reinforcements... No flexing at all.

I have them. Super easy to install, took me 20 mins with a buddy. They look awesome and they're super durable. I have smittybilt SRC all the way round my jeep. Love their stuff
