Default Smittybilt stinger bumper question

Hi all, I just placed an order for a smittybilt front stinger bumper for my 2011. I was wondering if it is just a bolt up job, or do i have to cut the steel stock bumper that the plastic part covers? Thanks in advance!

Your factory bumper comes off with 4 bolts on each side, unhook the fog lamps and sit it on the ground. Pretty easy.

Smittybilt is pretty good for being bolt on without moding.

Since the bumper is a stubby I just wanted to make sure the factory steel bar would not stick out past the smittybilt bumper. Hoping It does bolt right on
