I would go new for $379. or get the XRC 10 comp for $510.

I would just buy a new one. I just bought the same winch from one of the site sponsers and added a lifetime warrenty through the distributer. I paid 379 + an additional $50.00 for the warranty.

Just buy new and have no problems or worries !

Some friends of mine in the local Jeep club have Smittybilt winches and they have all worked great.
