Default Smittybilt XRC 8 Problem

Got my brand new XRC 8 all mounted up and it does not work at all...nothing.

I have checked the wiring scheme countless times and it is definitely hooked up correctly.

I am guessing it is something to do with the plug in remote...any suggestions...

Explain "not working"

1. Are you trying it with the engine on?
2. Are you able to manually unspool the cable?
3. After you put plugged in the control stick, did you turn it to lock it in?
