Default Smittybilt XRC or LOD Front bumper?

I can't decide between the Smittybilt XRC or the LOD mid-width Front bumper?

Please chime in with your suggestion or experience with either.
Post your PICS if you have 'em!

I plan on installing a winch and off road lights when funds allow.

Also, they seem to be about the same price, which I want to stay around 500-600.

Was that 529 shipped? Good price. The brawler looks good too but unfortunately my arachnophobia prohibits me from any products with "poison spider" in their name.

My vote goes to the LoD mid. Not only because i recently acquired one but it is solid.

With the winch plate on there and a winch it will be very heavy. I am getting a winch very soon, so i am excited to have a nice bumper to bolt it up to. I just got the bumper Wednesday!

I will also say i have read multiple quality threads in the negative on the smitty stuff. I wouldn't know personally of any issues, but i know i wouldn't buy a good amount of there products. That's probably just me and my opinion.

It was harder for me to remove the stock setup than bolt up the LoD mid by myself. No stripped bolts, or fitment issues. Good luck in your decision!

I have the LoD mid-width and rear full-width with carrier. I was also debating the Smittybilt Stinger with the LoD mid-width before I made my choice.

I decided to go with the LoD because I know it is made here in the USA and that it retains the factory foglights unlike the Smittybilt bumpers. I paid $730 shipped for the front bumper through Northridge 4x4.

Smittybilt has their new M.O.D. system bumper that allows you to pick from a grill guard hoop or a stinger hoop.

I had a XRC rear with tire carrier on my 03 rubi.. the thing was stout, with frame tie ins. when I put it on it actually straitened my frame up a bit from all the abuse. never had any rattling. I am going to get XRC again. front and rear this time. I heard some guys got smokin deals on them to. so keep your eyes open. I got my mine with tire carrier and free shipping for 519. cant beat that. thick enough for serious wheelin.
